To ensure the highest quality of service to our children and adults, IEA’s Board of Trustees decided it was imperative that we expand our current facility. In May 2015, IEA purchased the land next to our current school and began to plan for the construction of an Adult Life Skills Facility.
Our Facility Plans:
IEA will construct a 2-story, 10,000 square foot Adult Life Skills building adjacent to the current Educational building. This facility will include educational spaces, model offices, and various work settings to facilitate skill development that will lead to the adults being gainfully employed. It will also contain designated training spaces to promote physical fitness and an overall healthy lifestyle for the adults. Additional spaces will include a culinary center for meal preparation and dining and recreational areas in which adults can gather and socialize with one another, as well as develop their leisure skills. This state-of-the-art facility will promote maximum skill development and enjoyment in the adults we serve.
Our Campaign for Tomorrow:
Through our Campaign for Tomorrow, we hope to raise a minimum of $6 million to fund the land purchase and new facility construction project, as well as support the ongoing service delivery to our children and adults. IEA graciously looks to its supporters to help fund this campaign. This is an endeavor that we have absolutely no choice about. The future of our children and adults depends upon this campaign.
How You Can Help:
